The vast majority of first lessons go well, but just in case, you can rest assured that you have a financial backstop.
If you’re not happy with your first lesson with a tutor, for whatever reason, your tutor won’t charge you. That's the First Lesson Guarantee.
No strings attached: all tutors agree to offer this guarantee when they list themselves on Tutorly. If you prepaid in advance of your first lesson, ask your tutor to refund you in full. Please note that the First Lesson Guarantee does not mean that all first lessons with tutors are free (that'd be a bit hard on them!).
