Thomas has helped me understand key concepts of the work I am studying in a quick way. He explains the work in a clear manor and works through set questions. Thomas also creates notes on the study topics to further assist.Tasso Kapetopoulos, 6 months ago
I am a 2017 VCE graduate and current student at the University of Melbourne. My VCE subjects included Specialist Maths, Mathematical Methods, Physics, Chemistry, English and Geography. I have progressed my mathematical and scientific studies at University, where I am in my third year of a Bachelor of Science degree. I am majoring in Physics and plan to complete a Masters of Engineering. I also received an academic prize for Geography in Year 11, inspiring me to study Climate Change as breadth.
I am a direct person, and thus will be straight to the point in my teaching. I believe the key to success, particularly in VCE, is nailing the main concepts from the get go, and thus I will work around key learning points in the study designs. Lessons will begin with a summary of each topic and points that I believe are critical to one's understanding of that concept. We will then go over any points of confusion you as the student may have, and any issues you've had with work that's been set.
I have a passion for sports and have played many different types from a young age, including AFL, cricket, tennis, hockey, swimming and squash. I am currently a tennis coach, so understand what is required to successfully teach new ideas to students.
