My Experience

I am a full time mechatronics engineer and I have experience with math tutoring since high school, being a lead tutor in the High School Math Tutoring club, as well as working as a private tutor for 8 years. I am also a high achiever, obtaining awards in maths during high school and receiving scholarships. With my experience and passion, I will definitely be able to push you towards your goals.

How I'd Tutor You

I believe there are two types of tutoring: ones that teach difficult concepts, and ones that teach students how to learn difficult concepts. I personally think tutors should aim to achieve the latter, but like all good things, teaching a learning method takes a much longer time than teaching individual concepts. For that reason, I am flexible with the style of teaching, whether it is for building skillsets in the long term or preparing for that math test next week.

A little bit more about me

As someone who went from alternative maths, lowest level stream, in year 7 to grade accelerate class in year 9, I am certain that almost everyone can improve their skills in mathematics through appropriate guidance and targeted efforts.
