My Experience

I have been working as a freelance tutor for upper high school and university level mathematics and physics in ACT since 2012. As well as tutoring, I have taught first year undergraduate physics across the syllabus at ANU since 2016. I have also taught as a substitute at ANU College, working with final year high school students.

How I'd Tutor You

My approach to tutoring is tailoring an individual approach for each student, working with them to build confidence. I do this by grounding our work in what they already know – often more than they themselves realise - before building on the lessons they receive in school. I work with each student to establish their preferred learning style, factoring in any additional needs.

A little bit more about me

As well as formal education roles, I work and volunteer in science outreach. Since 2015, I have volunteered with the National Youth Science Forum, engaging with final-year high school students to experience real-world science.
