I have just started with Ben and already I feel I am in capable hands. I was very worried thinking I would never be able to catch up but I feel like this is turning for me with Ben’s help. I save a lot of time and feel better about my abilities.

his teaching method is very interesting. Benjamin sees mathematics a philosophy, not just a 'school subject'. His enthusiasm and knowledge is deeply profound. But he can improve on planning ahead before commence lesson and has actual test etc.

,

Just a couple sessions in with Benji, but he has made the process very welcoming.

My Experience

In 2014 I achieved dux of Melba College, completing the VCE with an ATAR of 99.60, with two perfect 50s in Biology and University of Melbourne Extension Program Mathematics. I also achieved study scores of 46 in Specialist Mathematics, and 43 in Maths Methods. Since then, I have used the skills I've learned through experience to help dozens of Year 11 and 12 students achieve the best they can.

How I'd Tutor You

My lessons typically go for an hour. The content and style of these sessions are different every time, catering to each student's individual needs and learning style. I like to begin my classes by asking my students if there are any concepts that they don't understand or any questions they have about the material. This allows me to structure the lesson around the areas that each student feels that they need help with the most, while adding my own tips and tricks on how to tackle the VCE.

A little bit more about me

When I'm not teaching Maths and Science, I'm learning, studying full time at Melbourne University. When I'm not learning, I'm getting involved with music and musical theatre. I love singing, acting, writing music and performing on stage.
