A review, a review!
My kingdom for a review!
I'm in my third year at the University of Auckland, double majoring in International Politics and English. Prior to this, I graduated High School with the International Baccalaureate Diploma with English as one of my three High Levels. I've recently completed my TESOL (TEFL) certificate, and have taught English as a language in China previously, as well as conversational English to International Students in New Zealand. Furthermore, I have tutored in Academic Writing and English Literature.
I prefer to customise my lessons for each specific individual, so that you can get the most out of our sessions- whether you wish to enhance your conversational English skills for tests similar to IELTS, or for your own personal abilities or academic writing. I am also available for help with specific nuances of English Literature, whether it be at high school or tertiary level, or even within NCEA or IB as I have also sat the NCEA Scholarship exams for English.
I grew up sailing around South-East Asia with my family, and as such am aware of the difficulties of living in a country where you struggle to speak the language or know common slang and attitudes. I can travel around the CBD and North Shore :)
