A review, a review!
My kingdom for a review!
I initiated and took part in a mentoring scheme in 2013, facilitating older students to tutor younger students. Last year I spent two months tutoring a 13 year old French during their entrance exams to school.
I teach with school texts and also real life examples. I use current affairs and popular culture to bring the language to life, show its usefulness and make it fun. I am thorough and rigid when it comes to grammar, but make sure to put it into practise in an interactive way. I believe in talking as much as possible in French when learning, even teaching grammar points this way, but will always make sure the pupil understands what is taking place. I am happy to help with the VCE curriculum.
I am a British woman who has recently arrived in Australia where I intend to spend the next year. Last year I graduated from the University of Oxford after spending four years studying French, including a year in Belgium perfecting my language.
